In the retaliation for the assassination in Paris of a Nazi diplomat allegedly by a young German-born Polish Jew. Nazi sympethizers in Germany and Austria, led a co-ordinated attack that left 91 Jews murdered, 30,000 arrested and more than 7,000 of their businesses destroyed or damaged between November 9 and 10, 1938.
