CN – Belinda Wong

You ever heard a beat boxer go off? Whether you got a taste of the sonics from way back, caught on when The ROOTS were rolling with Rahzel or Scratch, or even a little of JT fooling with it. Well that’s the art, and here it is in full splendor. Here we bring you a bit of the history. One of the featured artists from a 108 Records project from around the way, the first beatboxing album, The Human Element. Here we present one of the more unsung legends from New York, DOA. Check how he flips the script in a timeless video, shot by Emily Chan, a young, talented film director from Vancouver, Canada. Respect the talent, respect the architects.
