Its name is a bit misleading. The 6% alcohol in this drink comes from rice wine, not hops.
If your asian maybe you’re familiar with grand parents making their own ‘moonshine’ rice wine back in the day. Had this at a Korean BBQ place in Shanghai and it hit the spot. Surprisingly light in taste and alcohol to the point of bland, it goes down smooth with food. Its got bubbles from soda water which is why in translation its probably labelled beer.
No need to add ice though, just chill. Drinking it again the next day with an ice cube just turned it into water with some rice wine after taste. It is alcohol kiddies, but nice.
